NestiFly, Thailand's first licensed P2P lending platform, has brought about a revolution in the financial industry since its inception in 2021. The platform was specifically designed to address the financial equality challenges faced by borrowers who are unable to leverage alternative assets that traditional banks do not accept as collateral. This unique feature of NestiFly enables more people to access loans, promoting financial inclusion.
The platform has met all the technical and security requirements and successfully exited the Bank of Thailand's Regulatory Sandbox in February 2022. Later on in April 2022, it received its commercial license from the Ministry of Finance and became the first-licensed P2P lending platform in Thailand. This has cemented NestiFly's position as a leading player in the P2P lending space.
NestiFly is also the first operating blockchain-based financial platform in Thailand, offering complete transparency and security to its users. Its mobile-based operation enables loans to be approved and matched within 24 hours, which is significantly faster than traditional lending institutions. The platform's use of the country's NDID eKYC infrastructure for user identity verification to provide convenience with the highest level of security for its users. The platform is available on both iOS and Android, making it accessible to a wide range of users.
After a year of successful operation under the Bank of Thailand Sandbox and receiving its commercial license, NestiFly was acquired by a joint venture between NEWS and AQUA, SET listed companies. The company's ShareLoan application has been renamed to StockLend, and plans to be relaunched in the first quarter of 2023 with Liberator Securities as the new asset custodian. While, NestiFly founders have started Perpetual Innovation, a new venture to tackle other social and environmental challenges.
